Wölffer Estate Vineyard introduces Red Cider

Wölffer Estate Vineyard

SEEING RED

Wölffer Estate Vineyard debuts Wölffer No.139 Red Cider: a vibrant, food-friendly sparkling cider made exclusively from New York State dessert apples grown and handpicked at the DeFisher Fruit Farm in Rochester. The new Red Cider rounds out Wölffer’s growing cider portfolio, which already includes the No. 139 Dry Rosé and White Ciders that revolutionized the industry when released five years ago.

APPLES TO APPLES

Winemaker Roman Roth sources a number of apple varieties—Idared, Northern Spy, Jonagold, Mustu, Law Rome and Golden Delicious—each known for their crisp, sweet and aromatic flavor profiles, resulting in cider that's cherry red in color and achieves a balance between the fine tannins and elegant, bright fruit.

AUTUMN PAIRINGS Red Cider is best served chilled and can be paired with anything from Mexican and Asian cuisines, to a cheese plate or even with roasted s'mores by the campfire. Wölffer No.139 Red Cider (SRP $16) is available for purchase at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, local retailers including select Whole Foods and Fairway locations in the Northeast or by visiting Wolffer.com.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard Open 7 Days a week Sunday –Thursday 11am - 6pm Friday – Saturday 11am - 8pm Closed for private events:  9/8 + 9/22
