Where to Celebrate National Biscuits Day in Nashville (December 14)

National Biscuit and Gravy Day is this Saturday, December 14, and we've rounded up the best spots in Nashville to enjoy this classic southern breakfast dish!

Josephine

Known for his thoughtful cuisine and house-made ingredients, James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Andy Little of Josephine on 12 South whips up one of the best brunch menus in Nashville. Serving their freshly baked biscuits and gravy with simply prepared eggs and chives, this Southern favorite will not disappoint.

The Listening Room Cafe

There's nothing more Southern than biscuits and gravy with a little side of country music - and that's exactly what The Listening Room Cafe serves every Saturday! The downtown Nashville staple serves up buttermilk biscuits topped with sausage gravy, $4 mimosa specials, $5 bloody mary's, and free live music from some of the best songwriters in Nashville.

Butchertown Hall

Known for their smoked meats and Texas twists, Germantown's Butchertown Hall tops their buttermilk biscuits with pulled rib meat that has been slow cooked in their custom-built high-capacity smoker. Topped with house-made gravy, Butchertown adds a slightly smokey twist on the breakfast classic.
