Country rocker Tim Montana kicked off the new year in a special way. During his set at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium last night (1/4), Montana presented United States Special Forces Operator Corey with an Epiphone Les Paul donated by Sound Check Nashville onstage before a packed house. Corey, a military operator for the past two decades, is about to be deployed for his 11th tour of duty.
Tim performed at the War Memorial Auditorium as part of the Nashville House Concerts series. Spearheaded by Sirius XM’s Storme Warren, the series is a new music variety show held the first Thursday of each month to spotlight the historic venue and to encourage other artists to perform there.
After opening for Collective Soul’s Ed Roland, Montana was invited back onstage to perform their mega hit “Shine” alongside the group and Storme Warren to close out the evening.
Montana ended his epic 2017 with a performance of his current single “Hillbilly Rich” on Fox & Friends. Already racking up an impressive 993,000 views, the official music video features pals Rob O’Neill, best known as the American hero and former U.S. Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden and “Streetbike” Tommy Passemente from MTV’s Nitro Circus.
