Thanks for chatting with us! For newer fans, how did your passion for music and career come about? My mom played piano in church, so I asked her for lessons when I was six years old. After ten years of classical piano lessons, I went to college and got a math degree. It wasn't until after college and working in the corporate world, that I found piano bars, which eventually led to me pursuing music full-time.
What was the best piece of advice you've ever been given about pursuing a career in music? It's a marathon, not a sprint.
What song that you have recorded means the most to you and why? "Fiddle & Keys" - It feels right musically because I can rock out on the piano, my husband can rock on fiddle. It's like where Jerry Lee Lewis meets Charlie Daniels, and then on top of that, lyrically, it's about how my husband and I met.
Is there one song in particular you're most excited about people hearing? I can't wait for everyone to hear "High & Dry" It's so fun, fast, and musically interesting. This is one song that I will be out front on vocal lead and not behind the piano.
Was there ever music playing in the kitchen growing up? Creedence Clearwater Revival or any Southern rock.
What is your favorite dish to cook? Eggs and bacon, I'm simple.
Favorite music to listen to while you cook? Country music
If you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why? Dr. Pepper, because Cliff is obsessed with Dr. Pepper. We have Dr. Pepper things all over our kitchen.
