Thirsty Thursday Featuring Belle Lundon

Thank you for chatting with us! What song that you have recorded means the most to you and why? "My Soul to Keep." It was the first gospel song I wrote and my church members are in the music video.

Where did you grow up and how has that influenced your style of music? I grew up in New Orleans listening to the oldies but goodies. A lotta James Brown, Sam Cooke, Sarah Vaughn, and New Orleans’ own Aaron Neville.

At the end of the day, what do you hope is the message of your music? To encourage positivity.

What do you hope people take away from your songs? To believe in the impossible- whether it is overcoming an addiction or any hardship, to believe in the power of love, and to have faith in God.

Is there one song in particular you're most excited about people hearing? "Space Cadet Remix." It’s a great song and music video!

What's your advice for young artists trying to establish a name for themselves? Especially young females that may see you as a role model? Stay away from bad energy. Life is short so make sure you enjoy what you do. And pray everyday because God loves hearing from us daily.

Favorite music to listen to while you cook? Gospel music all the way.

What is your favorite dish to cook? Gumbo & potato salad, depending on

how much time I have to make each dish.

What's on your pizza? Do you fold your pizza or eat it straight on? Bell peppers, onions and extra cheese with spinach, straight on. Ranch or no ranch? No Ranch

Where do you shop and name three items that are always in your grocery cart. I shop mostly at HEB. I have a fond place in my heart for them when I used to sing there during the Christmas holidays. The three items you will always find in my cart are : watermelon, water, and a face sheet mask.

If you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why? Smoothie King because I could practically live off their PB swizzle açaí bowl everyday…it’s my absolute favorite!
