New Chestnut Hill Concept Slated to Launch in November
The Hart, a tropical new restaurant and bar concept, will open in Nashville’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Located at 321 Hart Street, the main dining room will boast 1,700 square feet complete with private dining, patio space, with a wrap-around bar and elevated stage for live music events. The restaurant and bar will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm, with Friday and Saturday operations running from 11 am to 11 pm.
Located inside of the BentoLiving hotel and next-door to the former home of B1281, Bento’s debut bar concept, The Hart is the brainchild of Hawaiian native Justin Koziol. A nod to the street on which the restaurant is situated, the forthcoming restaurant serendipitously shares the maiden name of Koziol’s paternal grandmother. At the helm of the kitchen, Chef Mike Gibson crafts beloved island dishes with a refined touch, designed for the everyday diner with a wanderlust streak.
Chef Gibson and his team participated in a rigorous education process in Hawaii, with a focus on honoring traditional flavor profiles in unexpected ways. Each bite (and sip) feels like a vacation without ever leaving Music City. The restaurant will serve signature fare like Smoked Tako poutine, Ahi Club sandwiches on charcoal buns, Whole Grilled Snapper, and more. To drink, a selection of beers sourced from within 5 miles of The Hart, plus umami-infused cocktails and elevated twists on popular Asian beverages, and the return of B1281 bestseller, The Zombie.
The Hart is slated to open its doors to Chestnut Hill on the first weekend of November, with a grand opening on November 18.
