Band Takes Fans White Water Rafting in Fort Collins, Colorado as Part of New Fan Related Experiences
Always looking for new ways to share their undeniable love for their fans, platinum-selling group Sister Hazel, has launched The Great Escape, a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend the day on a uniquely designed adventure with just the fans and the band. Six fans white water rafted the Cache La Poudre River on a private guided river tour featuring class II, III, and IV rapids on August 26th followed by lunch with the band. The newest adventures available are:
08.10.2019 - Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville, TN. Six fans have the opportunity to explore the caverns with the band privately with choices between a simple walking tour of the cave or a tougher spelunking adventure.
08.15.2019 - Up to twelve fans to spend the day with Sister Hazel on a double deck party barge on Lake Travis in Austin, TX. Package includes lunch prepared by the band, jet ski rides, a first listen to the new EP Earth, and an intimate acoustic performance on the boat!
"The Great Escape was an idea we had about creating fun, memorable experiences for small groups of fans while out on tour," said Jett Beres, bassist for the band. "It’s a chance for us to bond with the Hazelnuts on a deeper level with customized VIP adventures all over the country. The first Great Escape was in Ft. Collins, Colorado on a Whitewater rafting trip. The experience was amazing for us as well as the fans that joined us. It was definitely a time we all won’t soon forget!" No stranger to hosting fan centered events; Sister Hazel prides themselves as being pioneers of the entertainment cruise industry. January 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the sold out Rock Boat, the longest running music festival at sea. Other annual fan driven events include Camp Hazelnut, the Hang at Hazelnut Isle, and the Holiday Hang. Camp Hazelnut takes place at Camp Crystal Lake outside Gainesville, FL and provides an uplifting experience for youth and families navigating the overwhelming challenges of cancer diagnosis. Camp Hazelnut is part of the Lyrics for Life Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer. The 14th Annual Hang at Hazelnut Isle beach bash took place in June at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms, SC with a weekend full of music, delicious food, games, beach parties, and exclusive access to hang out with the band. The second annual Holiday Hang in Chicago, IL is December 13-15. Fans will get into the holiday spirit with an exclusive holiday hang party at O'Callaghan's on Friday, a full band concert at House of Blues on Saturday, and delicious brunch at House of Blues on Sunday with a special "Holiday & Hazel Favorites" acoustic performance.

Originating from Gainesville, FL, Sister Hazel is comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called "one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years" by Performing Songwriter Magazine.
