TAILGATE FEST DOUBLES IN SIZE IN YEAR TWO AFTER AN OVERWHELMINGLY SUCCESSFUL INAUGURAL YEAR
FEST GROWS TO TWO DAYS, ADDS CAMPING, HOTEL PACKAGES AND MOVES TO 228 ACRE SILVERLAKES ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL GROUNDS IN NORCO
This afternoon TAILGATE FEST announces plans to double the fun growing from a one day festival to a two day festival, set to take place August 17-18. The festival will be expanding their footprint in year two taking over the 228 acre space at Silverlakes Entertainment Festival Grounds in Norco, CA just 45 minutes outside of LA and will be the first and only music festival to call the lush 200+ acres its home. Making the move allows fans to camp onsite or take advantage of local hotel packages for the weekend turning the fest into a 24-hour camping and tailgating experience complete with late night bonfires. The new site and its vast grassy fields will allow every tailgater to have unobstructed views of the stage.
Tickets are on sale now (www.LaTailgateFest.com) with prices ranging from $99 GA tickets to $599 Super VIP tickets. Just weeks after its initial on-sale, camping passes have already SOLD OUT. In additional to the larger footprint, the festival will also boast double the line up. With two headliners and two full days of national acts to be announced.
Much like year one, TAILGATE FEST once again will cater to country fans who don’t want the tailgate to stop when the show starts. TAILGATE FEST has turned the tailgating experience into the main event. Tailgate Fest 2019 will be a one of a kind extravaganza capturing a a few days of down home American - just minutes from the city. Fans will enjoy the music truckside, carside, stageside or from the sidestage swimming pool (complete with bar). The Fest will include bonfires with singalongs and s’mores, bloody mary brunches, truck competitions, cornhole competitions and more!
After a wildly successful start in year one, festival creator and co-founder Melissa Carbone claims “Tailgate Fest will be the most popular country music festival in America. It’s answering the needs of fans. They want to experience live music their way, without emptying their bank accounts. Tailgate breaks the mold by letting people build a world around their vehicle of everything they love most...food, drink, music, sun, games, love, friendship!” Carbone continued, “Tailgate Fest is a visceral human interaction festival because tailgaters don’t have their phones in their hands. This sense of connection is not matched at any other festival I’ve every been to which is where we win.”
