Always eager to try something new, platinum-selling band, Sister Hazel, and Rock Brothers Brewing out of Tampa, FL have collaborated to bring that perfect Ale for You! "We have known owner Kevin Lily for years," said bands drummer Mark Trojanowski. "When he opened a brewery it became an idea that we could someday create our own craft beer." Easily recognizable, the collaboration beer was named after the bands song "All for You," that topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and propelled their album to platinum status. "Much like the song 'All For You,' we wanted the beer to have a mass appeal and be received well by pretty much everyone who tries it," Kevin Lily (Rock Brothers Brewing). The Honey Blonde Ale made its public debut on the 20th Annual Sold Out Rock Boat and is available online TODAY. Brewmaster Eric Wannemacher and the band worked together at every step to ensure a remarkable flavor.
"A true taste of Florida sun and song in every sip while you're rocking the boat, chillin' poolside, or hangin' at the beach. We started with pilsner malt and a hint of wheat to bring a clean and light flavored base. Orange blossom honey provides a hint of sweetness, tangerine adds a refreshing citrus finish and azacca hops perfectly balance the flavors and aroma into an ale that will make it impossible for you to 'turn and walk away.' ENJOY!" Sister Hazel announced the beer collaboration via Facebook live here.
To accompany the chart-topping beer recipe, Ale For You cans boast original, Florida beach artwork designed by Cledisson Jules. The inspiration came from old Florida postcards showcasing sunshine, tangerines, and the Florida gator. CraftBeer.com, Southern Craft Beer Magazine, BrewBound, and Florida Beer News showed their support by sharing the news.
Not your average brewing company, Rock Brothers has also created signature beers for bands like Hootie and the Blowfish and 311. To learn more about Rock Brothers Brewing or to find Ale For You Honey Blonde Ale near you, visit https://www.sisterhazel.com/aleforyoubeer.
About Sister Hazel:
Originating from Gainesville, FL, Sister Hazel is comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called "one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years" by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Song "All for You," topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status. Since then, the band has become firmly established not only in rock and alternative music, but now in country with four back-to-back Billboard Top Country Albums Chart entries. They have most recently co-produced a cleverly themed EP compilation series entitled “Elements,” that includes a bonus seventh track that continued throughout the series. Living up to their fan-centered reputation, the band was a pioneer in the themed cruise industry by co-founding "The Rock Boat" and annually hosts events like the “Hazelnut Hang,” and "Camp Hazelnut" that focuses on creating unique experiences and interacting with the fans. Sister Hazel has been equally attentive to connecting with their audience through social media having amassed over a million social followers. In addition to the events and touring, the band also gives back with “Lyrics For Life.” Founded by singer Ken Block, the charity unites musicians and celebrities for concerts and auctions to benefit cancer research and patient-care charities.
