Sarah Gavigan to Host James Beard Foundation Fundraiser at Nicky’s Coal Fired

James Beard Foundation Fellow Sarah Gavigan is Teaming Up With Nicky’s Coal Fired to Host Spaghetti Eastern: A Japanese Italian Feast Benefitting The James Beard Foundation Women’s Leadership Program




On March 18th, Sarah Gavigan of Bar Otaku is teaming up with Nashville Chefs to bring you Spaghetti Eastern: A Japanese Italian Feast benefitting The James Beard Foundation Women’s Leadership Program. Hosted at Nicky’s Coal Fired, the evening will feature a menu curated by renowned Chefs and restauranteurs, as well as specialty wine pairings by Sommelier Dan Hutchinson of Advintage Distributing. The 4-course family-style dinner will include dining options such as Sake Kasu + Miso Angolotti paired with Ikura-Ricotta and Uni Tofu-Yo and Bucatini Nero Carbonara with Kombu Cured Mangalitsa Guanciale as well as Sake Glazed Coal Oven Broiled Catfish.


Chefs of the evening will include Tony and Caroline Galzin of Nicky’s Coal Fired, Sarah Gavigan of Bar Otaku, Lisa Marie White of Biscuit Love, Tandy Wilson of City House, Tom Bayless & Dauer Ellis of Bokbox, Jess Benefield & Trey Burnette of Two Ten Jack, and Mike Colon of Goo Goo Cluster.
