Circle All Access exclusively premiered a first listen to the track, which provides "a gentle nudge to remind us how music has this amazing power to reach deep into our souls and bridge the gap between our shared human experiences and something profound."
Written by John Ramey (Ty Herndon, Tracy Byrd, Neal McCoy) and Doug Johnson (Randy Travis, Lee Greenwood, The Oak Ridge Boys), "In A Song" is a reminder of how songs have the ability to touch our souls and communicate messages from a higher power and is a tribute to the role music plays in our lives.
Aldridge launched his solo career on the heels of his appearance with Coach John Legend on Season 22 of The Voice in 2022. His music is described as a blend of gospel, southern rock, country and Delta blues as evidenced by his uniquely soulful, blues-styled country sound. Aldridge has spent the past several months focused on creating new music and is slated to deliver his debut EP in early 2024.
ABOUT PEYTON ALDRIDGE:
Born in and raised in Mississippi, near the birthplace of the musical style known as the Delta Blues, Peyton Aldridge found his love for music at an early age, singing with his church choir and at local music venues. During his appearance on The Voice, in September 2022, Aldridge turned the heads and chairs of three judges; inciting a friendly rivalry between judge John Legend for blocking fellow judge Blake Shelton from participating. Aldridge officially launched his solo career with a sold-out January 2023 concert in his hometown and a series of single releases slated for early Spring 2023. The artist has consistently earned praise for the honesty in his songwriting and soulfulness of his vocals, often compared to Chris Stapleton and Vince Gill.
