Newcomer Noah Hicks celebrates life’s simple pleasures with latest single “No More of ‘Em” - featuring hit songwriter Rhett Akins - now available on all digital platforms. The mid tempo ode to his rural upbringing, co-written by Hicks, Akins, Jeremy Stover, and Will Bundy, and co-produced by Stover and Bundy, premiered yesterday (May 13) exclusively with Taste of Country and The Boot, who called the tune "...both nostalgic and grateful, for an idyllic life full of moments and memories fit for a country song."

"Initially walking out of the room that day, I didn’t have any intention of asking Rhett to sing on it,” Hicks told Taste of Country and The Boot of the idea to have Akins perform on the track. “I sat on the demo Will made, and the idea to have Rhett join the track just hit me one night. He couldn't be more of a perfect fit. I think the song really reflects on things just about anyone that grew up in a small town can relate to. It perfectly represents my childhood and how I was raised. Writing a song like this isn’t just some made up story - it’s my story. To write about anything else just wouldn't be me.”

"Country boy from Georgia? I'm in! Loved Noah's voice the second I heard it,” Akins mused when asked about Hicks. “The future of country music is safe with Noah Hicks around."

“No More of ‘Em” launches a series of releases Hicks and his label RED Creative Records have coined ‘Shot & Chaser’ - two back-to-back song releases simultaneously: follow-up single “Miss You Back” - produced by Paul DiGiovanni and Jeremy Stover - is due out May 28.

About Noah Hicks:

With a vocal warmth that emulates the feel of his Carrollton, Ga. upbringing, country newcomer Noah Hicks tells his story through song in a way that’s strangely familiar and universally relatable. Using home as his inspirational ‘true north,’ the ingenuity and maturity behind his sound and lyricism has provided Hicks a gateway into a community of some of Nashville’s top songwriters and producers, and has seen the young artist warmly welcomed by peers. After spending years in his home state, honing his craft while watching, listening to, and supporting fellow artists from his area, Hicks made the move to Nashville in January 2020 - and signed with RED Creative Group later that year. His hard work-meets-people first mentality has put him in writing relationships and rooms with Rhett Akins, Randy Montana, Cole Taylor, Paul DiGiovanni, to name a few. What’s more - he takes his musical prowess and packages it in an unparalleled, high-energy live show journey that seals the deal for potential fans every time he takes the stage. “I never thought being a singer was even possible - I intended to do what everyone else did. I’ve worked farms, built fences, tended cows, tinted windows… Becoming an artist was always just a dream. Now I’m blessed to call it my job.”
