Announced last month, Nicky’s Coal Fired will present Live Fire, an event series that invites guest chefs to take over the restaurant for one night each this Fall. The first chef take over will kick off on August 22nd with Memphis’ The Gray Canary chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman. The duo is known for their unique preparations of Italian-inspired small plates cooked over a large hearth. Ticer and Hudman will feature two pizzas: Space Oddity and Thunder Bird 40 Twice with small plates: Biscuit Gnocchi, Lady Peas, Beef Tartare and Turnips. Reservations are encouraged and walk ins are welcome.
