Nicky’s Coal Fired New Bagel Shop is Now Open Six Days a Week

Bagel Shop to Offer New Bagel Sandwiches on Nashville's West Side

Italian restaurant, Nicky’s Coal Fired, located in The Nations, recently re-opened with a fast-casual concept and a brand-new Bagel Shop. The eatery just announced that the Bagel Shop, which has shown popularity over the past few weeks, will be expanding its hours to six days a week beginning on July 10th. Guests will be able to visit the Bagel Shop daily from 10AM until 2PM and the restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays.

The Bagel shop features plain, sesame, and everything bagels made by Rob Kane, former owner of Bare Naked Bagel Shop. Chef Tony Galzin has added new coal-fired bagel sandwiches to the menu including a BLT Bagel made with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cream cheese or mayonnaise, a Roasted Turkey Bagel topped with turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and Dijonase and a Roast Beef Bagel made with sliced roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and horseradish cream. Guests can also, order from a variety of cream cheese spreads along with breakfast bagels including a Lox Bagel and Breakfast Sam. Barista Parlor cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, and espressos are also available.

Upon entering, guests will order at the host stand and will be given a number to place on their table; a server brings out all food and beverage items. A plexiglass barrier has been installed around the host stand to provide a measure of safety for guests and staff members. Additional precautions include tables spaced six feet, team members, and guests required to wear facial coverings, and the restaurant is stocked to provide disposable masks for guests at a sanitation station located at the entrance of the restaurant.

WHO: Nicky’s Coal Fired is owned by Chef Tony Galzin and Caroline Galzin. The Italian staple located in The Nations is home to Enrico, the only coal-burning oven in Tennessee. The restaurant is known for their Italian fare including coal-fired pizzas, homemade pasta and fresh antipasti.
