Beloved nonprofit celebrates 40 years; Adds new legacy event; Honors Ann & Glenn Eaden with Norman M. Lipman Award
The Nashville Wine Auction will hold a l’Eté du Vin Impact Party on June 11 to recognize the contributions of community leaders who have been instrumental in the non-profit organization’s four decades of success in uniting the wine community to help fund the fight against cancer.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of l’Eté du Vin, the Nashville Wine Auction’s signature event and the country’s longest-running wine auction. This private celebration with Nashville’s generous wine collectors and charitable supporters is a unique, first-time event for the Nashville Wine Auction.
“Forty years is an important milestone in the history of Nashville Wine Auction,” said Nashville Wine Auction President/CEO Holly Whaley. “This occasion will recognize our past and present leaders, major donors and long-time supporters. It’s going to be a fun reunion”
This special occasion’s guest list includes 200 significant supporters of the non-profit organization. Past event chairs, generous wine donors, enthusiastic bidders, and former staff and volunteers will gather with current leaders to celebrate the many years of positive impact made on our community.
Robert Lipman will present Ann Eaden with the Norman M. Lipman Award in honor of Ann and her late husband, Glenn Eaden. The Eadens have been fixtures of the Nashville Wine Auction events since its inception. Glenn Eaden passed away in December 2018.
The l’Eté du Vin Impact Party will be held at OZ Arts Nashville. The Edwards Pharris Group at Morgan Stanley and Lipman Brothers are event sponsors.
