Keeping in step with the challenging, ever-shifting demands of the COVID age, Marsh House, the Gulch’s go-to dining destination for elevated Southern fare and seafood, is reopening its doors to the public for a very special Oyster Social (Distancing) pop-up. For a limited time, guests can practice social distancing on the Marsh House patio over delectable fare and refreshing libations.
Offerings include thin fried catfish and fried chicken ($18), each served with fries, Creole mustard potato salad, coleslaw; and Murder Point ($3) and Louisiana Gulf oysters ($2) on the half shell. In addition to delectable bites, guests can also enjoy a variety of creative libations including the Fish House Bowl — a seasonal summer cocktail for two; Americano Hipe — Bruto Americano, Cocchi Torino, soda, orange; People’s Choice — Cathead, Genepy, cucumber, strawberry, lime, soda; and the Good Samaritan — Buffalo Trace, Amontillado, Banane du Bresil, lemon. A selection of wines-by-the-glass and Nashville brews like the New Heights Nothing Fancy Cream Ale and Tailgate Watermelon Goose will also be available.
