What first sparked your love of music? Was there a particular record you remember? One of my first musical memories is “Solid Air” by John Martyn. We grew up with a lot of music. My mum is a piano teacher and Steph’s mother would sing Irish folk songs with her and her sisters. -Chris

You have been receiving some early praise on debut album, Chasing Lights, from music outlets. That must feel pretty special?

Yes, we’ve been thrilled with how quickly things have grown! Moving to America is the best thing we’ve ever done. -Steph

How long have you wanted to do an album like this? Ever since we started making music we’ve wanted to record an album with Ethan Johns.

Is there one song in particular you’re most excited about people hearing?

There’s such a variation of tracks on the record– from rock jams featuring Dweezil Zappa to special ballads particularly the title track “Chasing Lights.” We just hope people have the time and will experience the record as a whole. - Chris

You have announced some big dates this summer including Old Settler's Music Festival and Bonnaroo, as well as some smaller venues. What do you like about playing those different settings? It’s always great for us because we never know what we’re turning up to. But we treat every show the same. America is still new and exciting for us. -Steph

Which other iconic venues would you like to perform?

The Ryman in Nashville and Royal Albert Hall in London

Who is the bigger foodie in the band? Me for sure. Chris will eat anything you throw in front of him...with hot sauce. -Steph

How do you find great food when you are out of tour? You don’t most of the time!

What fast food restaurant would you travel out of the way for? Whole Foods hahaha

You have been a lot of places. What's the most memorable meal you've had while touring. Where were you and what did it involve? The first night that we arrived in Nashville, management took us to Husk and we had some fancy shrimp and grits that was out of this world.

Is there anywhere you have wanted to travel or a restaurant you have always wanted to dine in that you have not yet? We would love to go to Japan. Just to eat.

Finally, if you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why? Yorkshire tea, no questions.
