FLAT RIVER BAND DROPS NEW ALBUM, EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY, AVAILABLE NOW

Out today, August 20, country-folk trio of brothers Flat River Band has released its newest album Every Dog Has Its Day. Consisting of Andy,Chad and Dennijo Sitze, the band's latest project is available for download everywhere music is sold or streamed.

"We are super excited about releasing this new collection of songs," says Dennijo. "We feel that this our best yet!"

The brothers believe the seven-track project is unique to anything the band has previously released.

"This time around, we recorded the vocals to each song in the studio all together, so if one of us messed up, we'd have to start over," says Chad.

Andy adds, "This called for extensive rehearsing beforehand, but we created a vibe we've never captured before."

The trio was heavily involved in all aspects of making Every Dog Has Its Day. The brothers wrote or co-wrote every song, produced the album and recorded with their chosen instruments in studio. Additionally, they recruited Aaron McDaris on banjo, who performs with Rhonda Vincent and the RageJohnny Hiland on electric guitar and Stuart Duncan on fiddle.

Coincidently on Monday, August 26, "International Dog Day," the Flat River Band will celebrate the release of Every Dog Has Its Day at Nashville’s Ole Smoky at 7:00 pm/CT. Open to the public and hosted by 650AM WSM Nashville Today's Devon O'Day, the band will perform the album at length for fans. Proverbs 12:10, a Nashville-based animal rescue organization, will be onsite with puppies to provide information on its adoption process.

The Flat River Band, consisting of three brothers Andy, Chad and Dennijo Sitze, grew up in a multi-generational family band. Performing alongside their parents and grandparents, they held residencies at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri and at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Throughout their tenure in music, the Missouri natives have charted #1 hits on the bluegrass gospel charts and have opened for the Dixie Chicks’ Natalie Maines, Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, TG Sheppard, and more. The trio's songs can be found in the 2018 movie The Least of These — A Christmas Story, featuring Duane Allen (Oak Ridge Boys), Deborah Allen, and Tayla Lynn (Loretta Lynn's granddaughter).
