Death Cab for Cutie to Perform at Historic Ryman Auditorium Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16

The 8x Grammy nominees, Death Cab for Cutie, released their ninth studio album Thank You For Today to critical acclaim from NPR, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and more – debuting at #1 on the Rock, Alternative, and Vinyl Album charts. Their latest single “Northern Lights” recently cracked the Top 15 at Alternative radio. Earlier this year, the track hit #1 at Adult Alternative – the album’s second #1 at that format following debut single “Gold Rush,” which held the top spot on the chart for eight weeks in 2018.

This spring and summer will see the band crossing North America in support of TYFT, including a two night performance in Nashville, TN at the Historic Ryman Auditorium on Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16th, a stop at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre (June 25th), and an August 11th finale at Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Bowl.

NPR: “For a band in its third decade… Death Cab hasn't lost its gift for pairing Gibbard's soft ruminations with propulsive arrangements that know just when to sparkle and sway. But even more importantly, Gibbard himself still sings with a sense of purpose, keenly articulating a distinct swirl of nostalgia, loss and hope for new beginnings.”

Entertainment Weekly: “…both refreshing and consistently piercing…”

Rolling Stone: “Death Cab for Cutie sounds rejuvenated on Thank You for Today”
