Good Afternoon! Thank you so much for talking with us! When and how did your passion for music start? Thank you so much for taking time with me! I honestly have always loved music. I was around eight years old when I first started singing on stage and realized I felt at home there.
Was there a defining moment when you decided to really chase your dreams? I actually was doing pageants. I did a national pageant where a manager saw my performance and was interested in working with me. That's when I realized this was really what I wanted to do.
You are releasing your beautiful single "Right Man" on October 11. What’s the story behind it? I wrote the song about someone that I cared about, but I realized it was just not the right time for us. I felt if he was not willing to wait, then he is not the right one.
Any news you want to share about your debut EP coming soon? I am excited about releasing my EP! I am hoping it will be released in early 2020.
What excites you most about the Nashville music scene right now? Nashville is such an amazing creative place! I love that there are so many genres of music in Nashville and you can find good music on every corner! I also love the community of creatives. You can meet people randomly and end up collaborating on music.
If you could join any past or current music group which would you want to join? I guess I would want to be in the Jonas Brothers. They are great musicians and seem fun to be around.
What does your cooking playlist look like? My cooking playlist would have a mix of upbeat pop music with artists such as Astrid S, Julia Michaels, and Nightly.
Is there an ingredient you are really enjoying cooking with at the moment? Lately, I have been using a lot of cinnamon while cooking.
What three things you can always find in your home refrigerator? You could find pineapple, salami, and sweet potatoes in my refrigerator at any given time.
If you designed your own walking food tour of Nashville, which restaurants/food sellers would be on your list of places to visit? I would say Baja Burrito, Pancake Pantry, Rock Bottom, and Gigi's Cupcakes.
Atlanta, Georgia has its share of great restaurants as well. Any favorites you want to share? I love Mary Mac's, it is amazing! I also love Rooster's Cafe!
Finally, if you could be sponsored by one food/drink brand who would it be and why? I would love to be sponsored by Dole! Pineapples are my favorite fruit and I try to keep stocked up on it!
