Country Singer-Songwriter, Raleigh Keegan, Talks Upcoming Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Performance



What are you looking forward to most playing the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam coming up?

I can’t wait to meet with fans and make new ones. I’m also really looking forward to meeting some of the other artists I’ve been looking up to for a while now!


What song are you most excited for fans to hear at the festival?

Definitely my new single, “Lookin’ Like That." It seems to be a crowd pleaser and really fun for us to play live.


And a big congrats on your new single, "Lookin Like That!” Can you tell us a little about the song?

I’m so proud of this song. It’s the first taste of a new wave of music to come. It’s so much fun to look out into the crowd and see the audience singing along and having a good time. This song seems to do the trick!


You have built quite a fan following on social media and through playing shows. How do you stay connected with your fans?

I love meeting fans at shows and getting to know them. My favorite part about this job is getting to connect with people. I try my best to make time every day to respond to tweets, Instagram comments, and Facebook mentions. I think people feel appreciated when they know that the artist cares enough about them to take time to respond and interact with them.

Are fans going to be able to meet and talk with you during the festival?

Who do you look forward to performing alongside the most?

I’ve opened for Drake White previously and we had a fun time, so I am looking forward to that. Eric Church is also one of my heroes in country music and someone who I have respected and looked up to for years.


Who was your first concert?

My first concert was John Mayer in 2007. It was a life changing experience!

Music festivals go hand in hand with food! What’s your favorite festival food?

My favorite food is ALWAYS Mexican. I pretty much eat Mexican on a daily basis.


Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam is of course going to have seafood. Do you have any favorites?

Seafood isn’t really my jam. I’ll be looking for the nearest taco truck!


Is there anything coming up for you that you’d like to share?

I have a music video coming out this week for my new single, “Lookin’ Like That,” that I can’t wait to share! I’ve been perfecting this video for a while and have been waiting patiently to get it out there… it’s finally here!
