Pie Town Tacos, a fast-casual taco shop by Jason and Lea Crockarell, is slated to open later this month. Pie Town Tacos is located in Nashville’s Pie Town neighborhood at 614 Ewing Ave.

Pie Town Tacos will offer two styles of tacos: traditional street tacos, including carne asada and al pastor, with fresh garnishes on corn tortillas; and Nashville hot tacos made with a house spice blend. Taco bowls with chorizo and potato, chilaquiles, fresh salsas, chips with queso, and house made sopapillas round out the menu. Vegetarian options will be plentiful, including Nashville hot cauliflower tacos, tofu chorizo bowls, and sides like black beans, cotija potatoes, and green rice.

"We are excited to bring some delicious tacos to the Nashville food landscape and hope to become a favorite for our friends and neighbors,” said Jason Crockarell.

Once open, Pie Town Tacos will operate Monday – Saturday, 10am to 3pm, initially offering carry out and delivery. The Pie Town Tacos food truck will be parked outside for takeout orders, which are available for walk up service or advance ordering online. Delivery will be available through Grubhub and Postmates.

Once dine in service is established, the bungalow will offer seating for up to 20 people inside, and a patio with seating for 12, all appropriately distanced.

Pie Town Tacos comes to Nashville by husband & wife team Jason & Lea Crockarell. They have more than 25 years’ experience in Nashville’s hospitality industry, including their successful business since 2006, Flavor Catering. Pie Town Tacos is a dream turned reality, honoring Lea’s Mexican heritage in a concept focused on their family’s favorite food. They have run their business from Nashville’s Pie Town neighborhood since 2011, a great little slice of Nashville.

"Our friend Gayle at Hot Diggity Dogs is an ambassador for the Pie Town neighborhood and someone that our family loves,” said Crockarell. “We hope to continue that tradition by bringing Pie Town Tacos to that space, providing a place for the community to hang out and enjoy good food. We can’t wait to bring Pie Town Tacos to the community so we will offer takeout and delivery off of the food truck until the building is ready for dine-in service.”

Pie Town Tacos will also offer full catering services, and the Pie Town Taco truck will serve at both public and private events.
