Tickets For 15th Annual Festival and Year-Round Events Available August 28
Charleston Wine + Food will release tickets for its year-round events and 2020 festival, March 4 - 8, 2020, on August 28th at 8:00 AM on charlestonwineandfood.com. A 48-hour public preview will be available on Monday, August 26 at 8:00 AM.
The 2020 festival marks the 15th anniversary of the organization. Programming will be reflective of this milestone year. “Authenticity, relevance, and growth continue to be questions surrounding our community at large,” says Gillian Zettler, Executive Director. “As a nonprofit organization who champions our local hospitality community, we find ourselves in a period of reflection and need for innovation.”
This year’s schedule of events will showcase all that Charleston has to offer with over 120 experiences including Signature Dinners featuring a collaboration between top out-of-town talent with local chefs + restaurants; Excursions rooted in educational storytelling; Hands-on classes including a wellness track + cooking classes; Beverage Workshops featuring wine, beer and spirit tastings; and two days of panel programming designed for participating talent and industry professionals.
“Expect the return of fan favorites and a host of new programming,” Zettler remarks. “Through meaningful storytelling and unparalleled experiences, we continue to show that Charleston Wine + Food is more than just a wine and food festival.”
Year-round programming will include cooking classes, beverage workshops and a sample of industry-focused conversations in the Charleston Wine + Food Test Kitchen, as well as a large Signature Event in the fall. The organization will also release a podcast series beginning in September featuring local, regional, and national podcasts monthly. A limited number of free tickets will be released to the public on Ticket Launch.
