2019 Memphis Wine & Food Festival Offers Unforgettable Event with an Exceptionally Talented Lineup

The third Memphis Food & Wine Festival took place on October 12, 2019 at The Live Garden at Memphis Botanic Garden. It was a beautiful setting with lots of room to enjoy the festival.



Memphis really celebrated its culinary excellence by showcasing exceptional local chef talent along with acclaimed regional, national and international chefs. Also enhancing the lineup this year was vintners, certified sommeliers and enlightening wine enthusiasts. Check out some of the dishes and wine and below!


Chef Jose Salazar - Goetta - Cincinnati pork and oats terrine with an apple puree, shaved chestnuts and apples, maple gatrique and chervil

Chef Michelle Tribble Peaches and Cream Cheesecake - spiced peach puree, vanilla bean, whipped cream, and peach chip

Raymond Jackson - Crosstown Cafe, Memphis- Picadillo with black beans, plantains, and white rice

Nick Vergos - Rendezvous Ribs



Chef Andreas Kisler- The Peabody Hotel, Memphis - Kafir lime cured shrimp, fennel, green papaya salad, coconut tapioca, and harissa kisses

Tory McPhail, Commanders Palace, New Orleans - BBQ Gulf redfish cake with ravigote, creole tomato sauce "piquant" herb salad

The festival also showcased a collection of Memphis musicians and it benefited the FedExFamilyHouse. FedExFamilyHouse offers housing for out-of-town families with children receiving treatment at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. With the support and generosity of many, MFWF has donated over $225,000 to FedExFamilyHouse thus far.
