What's your favorite Christmas memory?
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and we used to live in a neighborhood that was well known for its Christmas light display. That year I got a dark blue 3-wheeler for my birthday and my parents let me drive the three wheeler around dressed up as Santa giving out candy canes all night to all of the cars viewing the Christmas lights.
What’s your idea of a good Christmas Dinner?
A good Christmas dinner is sharing a dinner with close family and sometimes even close friends. Favorite foods items would be turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, and gravy.
Do you have a favorite Christmas album?
This year I am digging Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Christmas Time Again.
Do you have any favorite traditions or favorite movies for the holiday season?
Every year we open gifts, break out the guitar, sing Christmas songs, and spend time with family on Christmas Eve.
What’s been your favorite album of 2019?
Blake Shelton’s Fully Loaded: God’s Country.
What are your hopes for 2020? Any exciting plans?
I hope to write more songs, perform more and continue to use my gifts and talents to help positively impact people’s lives, overall better humanity with the gifts God has given me. I have been asked to perform at the NAMM in 2020, really excited about that. It is the first official invite I have ever received from them.

Hot Toddy Recipe
1½ ounce brown liquor such as brandy, whiskey or rum
1 tablespoon honey
½ ounce lemon juice
1 cup hot water
Lemon wedge, cinnamon stick and star anise, for garnish (optional)
