What's your favorite Christmas memory?
I have way too many great memories to really pinpoint one. Growing up back home in Kentucky, we always shared Christmas Eve and Day with both sides of my family. Both sets of grandparents. We sit around all day hanging with family, opening gifts, eating homemade Christmas candy and turkey/all the fixins. Just enough time to slow down and enjoy the day with family and the birth of Jesus.
What’s your idea of a good Christmas Dinner?
Turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed taters and some hot rolls waiting for butter!!!
Do you have a favorite Christmas album?
Toss up between Brad Paisley's Christmas Album or any Holiday Classic albums from Frank Sinatra, Bing Crobsy, Burl Ives and Andy Williams. I love the classics.
Do you have any favorite traditions or favorite movies for the holiday season?
Of course, we watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Home Alone/ Home Alone 2 each December at least four times each!
Whats been your favorite album of 2019?
Not really a favorite album of 2019. but lots of really amazing singles released on Country Radio that I love.
What are your hopes for 2020? Any exciting plans?
In the process of recording a brand new album and spending the Spring/ Summer 2020 promoting the anticipation of it's release. It will be my fifth out of Nashville. Anxious to get new music out to my fans. Also plan on performing another 180+ tour dates. Hoping to reach area's we haven't played as often. One of my biggest goals is to play the Opry. We are workin' hard on that currently. Fingers crossed.
The holiday season brings the best parties and time together with friends and family. What is your signature cocktail recipe that you will be drinking/serving? Anything but eggnog! Yuck!
